1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using this website and engaging in therapy services with The Healing Road, LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Nature of Services
The Healing Road provides professional therapy services including but not limited to EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. These services are provided by a licensed mental health professional and do not constitute medical treatment or emergency services.
3. Not Emergency Services
Therapy services provided are not emergency services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, suicidal ideation, or are a danger to yourself or others, please contact:

- Your local emergency room
4. Appointment Scheduling and Cancellation
Cancellation Policy: Sessions require 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may be billed in full at the standard session rate.
5. Payment Terms
Payment for services is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and insurance billing. You are responsible for any applicable copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.
6. Insurance and Out-of-Pocket Fees
If your insurance does not cover sessions, you agree to pay out-of-pocket fees. We will provide you with an estimate and discuss payment options before beginning services.
7. Confidentiality and Privacy
All information shared during therapy is protected by HIPAA and state confidentiality laws. Information will not be shared without your written consent except as required by law (mandated reporting, danger to self/others, legal proceedings).
8. Limitations of Liability
Therapy is not a guaranteed cure and outcomes cannot be promised. The Healing Road is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from therapy or the use of this website.
9. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate therapy services at any time. The practice reserves the right to discontinue services if the therapeutic relationship is not productive or if client behavior is disruptive or unsafe.
